South Dakota High School Basketball - Groton triumphant over Great Plains Lutheran

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) and the host Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD), observed Groton's basketball team overwhelm Great Plains Lutheran by a score of 55-34.

The Tigers (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Great Plains Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 37-36 non-league win over Webster (Webster, SD).
