In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Hartford Hurricanes basketball team scored a big 63-32 win over the Green Mountain Chieftains.
The Hurricanes (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT). The Otters come into the Marble Valley - B contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Otter Valley was trounced by West Rutland (West Rutland, VT), 68-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Bellows Falls Terriers (Bellows Falls, VT) in a Marble Valley - C contest, on Thursday, February 13. Green Mountain will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Terriers come into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 61-18 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, VT).
