Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 59-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Prout upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Middletown (Middletown, RI) to face the Islanders in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Islanders enter the match with a record of 5-12. Middletown lost 37-20 in their recent league match against Scituate (North Scituate, RI)

The Blue Wave now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a Division III match on Tuesday, February 11. Hope will face a Kilties squad coming off a 65-31 league loss to Lincoln School (Providence, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 5-15.
