The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Kingman Eagles (Kingman, KS) and the host Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS), observed Kingman's basketball team overwhelm Nickerson by a margin of 51-30.

The Eagles (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS). The Owls come into the Central Plains challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Garden Plain trounced Independent (Wichita, KS), 48-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) in a Central Kansas challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Nickerson will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 28-23 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS).
