The Mapleton Sailors basketball squad (Mapleton, OR), was crushed 56-31 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR)
With the victory, Powers advances its record to 13-10 on the year. The Cruisers travel to Rogue Valley Adventist (Medford, OR) to meet the Red Tail Hawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 13. The Red Tail Hawks enter the battle with a record of 8-4. Rogue Valley Adventist won 44-36 in their recent league battle against North Lake/Paisley (Silver Lake, OR)
The Sailors now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crow/City First Christian Academy for a 1A Mountain West battle on Tuesday, February 11. Mapleton will meet a squad coming off a 36-32 league loss to Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The record now stands at 4-13.
