Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors (Mount Hope, WV), 73-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Oak Hill advances its record to 8-8 on the year. The Red Devils host Independence (Coal City, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 5-12.
The Warriors now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lewisburg Baptist Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, February 17. Mount Hope Christian Academy will play a Lions team coming off a 48-24 league loss to Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
