South Dakota High School Basketball - Wall routs Newell

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Wall Eagles basketball team scored a big 59-25 triumph over the Newell Irrigators.

The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Bridgewater/Emery was trounced by Avon (Avon, SD), 45-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Irrigators battle the Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) in a B Region 8 contest, on Friday, February 14. Newell will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 66-38 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD).
