The Onaway Cardinals defeated the visiting Pickford Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 46-35 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) in a Ski-Valley outing, on Wednesday, February 12. Onaway will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Snowbirds come into the outing with a 15-1 record after their 28-14 league win over Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI).
The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Cedarville (Cedarville, MI). The Trojans come into the Eastern Upper Peninsula outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Cedarville was defeated by Newberry (Newberry, MI), 49-32, in a league outing.
