In Monday's non-league battle, the host St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets basketball squad scored a tight 41-39 victory over the West St. John Rams.
With the victory, St. Katharine Drexel advances its record to 10-24 on the year.
The Rams now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Jefferson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 12. West St. John will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 43-29 league loss to L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-21.
