The Tyler Lions basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Walnut Grove Wildcats to 41 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 31-5 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Tyler will confront a Scots team coming off a 42-37 non-league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Scots record now stands at 22-12.

With the loss, Walnut Grove falls to 16-18 on the campaign.
