The Alonso Ravens lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the host Wharton Wildcats to 5 in the Ravens league triumph on Monday.
The Ravens now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Palm Harbor University for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 13. Alonso will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 23-3 non-league win over Countryside (Clearwater, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Wharton falls to 0-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Durant (Plant City, FL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 19. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Durant lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Freedom (Tampa, FL)
