In Monday's non-league test, the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) ice hockey squad tipped the host Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO), by a final score of 2-1.
Next, the Coyotes face the Regis Jesuit Raiders (Aurora, CO) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 12. Monarch will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 5-2 league loss to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO).
The Gators (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Kent Denver (Englewood, CO). The Sun Devils come into the 4A North test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Kent Denver Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO), 4-4, in a non-league bout.
