In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Haleyville Lions soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Clements Colts.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against West Limestone (Lester, AL). The Wildcats go into the 4A Area 7 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, West Limestone by Ardmore (Ardmore, AL), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Colts play the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a 1A-3A Region 8 outing, on Thursday, February 13. Clements will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Rattlers go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL).
