In Monday's non-league test, the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sam Rayburn Texans (Pasadena, TX), by a tally of 11-1.
Next, the Rangers clash with the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 13. Sterling will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Texans (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Livingston prevailed over Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX), 9-6, in a non-league test.
