Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), 16-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Palacios improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Sharks travel to St. Paul (Shiner, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Thursday, February 12. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Bulldogs now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to First Baptist Christian for a non-league game on Friday, February 13. Hitchcock will battle a Warriors team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
