Polytechnic will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 40-34 non-league loss to Everman (Everman, TX).

With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Carter (Dallas, TX) to encounter the Cowboys in a 4A Region II District 11 test on Thursday, February 12. The Cowboys go into the test with a record of 0-2. Carter lost 21-10 in their recent non-league test against South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX)
