Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell County topples Adair County

In Friday's non-league outing, the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY), by a count of 74-62.

The Lakers (4-19) will now prepare for their outing against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Maroons go into the non-league outing with a 24-1 record. In their last outing, Pulaski County defeated Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 81-57, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Adair County moves to 15-9 on the year. The Indians host North Hardin (Radcliff, KY) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, February 12. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-14.
