The Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting David City Scouts to 40 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league contest on Friday, February 18. Wilber-Clatonia will battle a Broncos team coming off a 47-45 league loss to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 15-7.
The Scouts (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Clarkson/Leigh edged East Butler (Brainard, NE), 65-28, in a non-league contest.
