Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE) and the host Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE), saw St. Paul's basketball squad hold off Holdrege by a count of 51-47.
With the victory, St. Paul upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 18. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 17-3. Grand Island Central Catholic won 52-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE)
Next up, the Dusters play the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 18. Holdrege will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 68-57 non-league loss to Concordia (Omaha, NE).
