In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting Viewpoint Patriots (Calabasas, CA), by a final score of 3-2.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Toreadors travel to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Spartans enter the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next, the Patriots face the Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Viewpoint will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
