The Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT) basketball nipped the host Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT), 70-63 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Mustangs go into the Southwest test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Immaculate got by Harding (Bridgeport, CT), 51-42, in a non-league test.
The Wolves now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Platt RVT for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Amistad will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-10.
