High School Basketball - Berean Christian can't hold off Varsity Opponent

The Berean Christian Kingsmen basketball team (Rockford, IL), was nudged 35-32 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Varsity Opponent (, )
The now possess a 398-1226 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester School for the Deaf for a Section 5 Private Parochial battle on Saturday, February 11. Varsity Opponent will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 46-25 league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-14.
The Kingsmen (24-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cathedral Baptist (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders come into the Illinois Christian battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Cathedral Baptist was nudged by East Moline Christian (East Moline, IL), 58-30, in a league battle.
