The Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) basketball nipped the host Fort Lupton Bluedevils (Fort Lupton, CO), 54-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Broncos (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Brush (Brush, CO). The Beetdiggers go into the 3A Patriot test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Brush got by Liberty Common (Fort Collins, CO), 70-47, in a league test.
The Bluedevils now own a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Weld Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Fort Lupton will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 77-65 league win over Valley (Gilcrest, CO). The Rebels record now stands at 10-11.
