Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) and the host Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), saw North Park's basketball squad overcome Gilpin County by a tally of 52-35.

With the victory, North Park improves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Saratoga (Saratoga, WY) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 17-0. Saratoga won 62-46 in their recent league challenge against Cokeville (Cokeville, WY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes (Denver, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Gilpin County will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 63-27 league win over Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO).
