The Newark Tech Terries knocked off the host Irvington Blue Knights basketball squad by a margin of 73-61 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Terries (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Glen Ridge notched a victory over Tech (Newark, NJ), 43-32, in a non-league test.
The Blue Knights now own a 19-7 record. They play next when they host East Side for a Super Essex - American test on Tuesday, February 14. Irvington will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Red Raiders record now stands at 13-11.
