Licking Wildcats (Licking, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. James Tigers (St. James, MO), 80-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Licking upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Plato (Plato, MO) to play the Eagles in a Frisco bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Plato lost 50-38 in their recent league bout against Laquey (Laquey, MO)

Next up, the Tigers play the St. Clair Bulldogs (St. Clair, MO) in a Four Rivers bout, on Tuesday, February 14. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 47-46 league loss to Pacific (Pacific, MO).
