Illinois High School Basketball - New Berlin edges Salt Fork

The New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), 42-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pretzels (23-5) will now prepare for their test against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets go into the Sangamo test with a 21-6 record. In their last test, Williamsville got by Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL), 57-47, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 24-4 record. They play next when they travel to Schlarman for a Vermilion Valley test on Tuesday, February 14. Salt Fork will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-17.
