Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Grand Mustangs (Kremmling, CO), 67-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Vail Mountain upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Gore Rangers travel to De Beque (De Beque, CO) to play the Dragons in a 2A/1A Western Slope bout on Friday, February 17. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 8-10. De Beque lost 49-48 in their recent non-league bout against Green River (Green River, UT)

Next up, the Mustangs play the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) in a 2A/1A Western Slope bout, on Saturday, February 18. West Grand will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record.
