The Berlin Redcoats basketball team (Berlin, CT), was nudged 49-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT)
The Rebels now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a Southwest - Patriot battle on Tuesday, February 14. New Fairfield will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 70-55 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-9.
The Redcoats (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Middletown (Middletown, CT). The Blue Dragons come into the Central Connecticut - South Colonial battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Middletown edged Maloney (Meriden, CT), 56-36, in a league battle.
