New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola can't hold off Bernalillo

The Bernalillo Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Cibola Cougars to 61 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albuquerque Academy for a 4A District 6 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Bernalillo will battle a Chargers team coming off a 43-38 league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 9-15.
The Cougars (3-22) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm come into the 5A District 1 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Cleveland edged Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 69-41, in a league contest.
