The Elizabethtown Panthers (Elizabethtown, KY) basketball knocked off the host Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY), 72-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Green County notched a victory over Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 51-44, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Daviess County will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 56-41 league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 0-18.
