The DeWitt Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Traverse City Central Trojans to 37 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everett for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. DeWitt will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-12.

The Trojans (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats enter the Big North contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Alpena was outscored by Petoskey (Petoskey, MI), 53-28, in a league contest.
