Spectators at Saturday's non-league test between the Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) and the visiting East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), witnessed Eastland's basketball squad crush East Dubuque by a margin of 50-28.
The Cougars (22-9) will now prepare for their test against River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 25-5 record. In their last test, River Ridge/Scales Mound walloped Stockton (Stockton, IL), 52-15, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-18 record.
