Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), 64-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greenwood upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Gators travel to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-14.

Next up, the Falcons play the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Monroe County will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record.
