High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), 42-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, High Point upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Morris Hills lost 60-51 in their recent non-league bout against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ)

Next up, the Hornets play the West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Hanover Park will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 36-31 non-league loss to Verona (Verona, NJ).
