Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD), 53-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highmore/Harrold upgrades its record to 5-13 on the season. The Pirates travel to Ipswich (Ipswich, SD) to play the Tigers in a B Region 6 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Ipswich won 44-32 in their recent league bout against Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 44-40 non-league loss to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD).
