The Luther Knights basketball team (Onalaska, WI), was nudged 50-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, WI)
The Spartans now possess a 5-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Crosse Central for a Mississippi Valley battle on Tuesday, February 14. Sparta will confront a Riverhawks team coming off a 60-49 league win over La Crosse Logan (La Crosse, WI). The Riverhawks record now stands at 10-11.
The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Arcadia (Arcadia, WI). The Raiders come into the Coulee battle with a 9-12 record.
