Colorado High School Basketball - Rye overwhelmed by Manitou Springs

The Rye Thunderbolts basketball team (Rye, CO), was routed 49-21 in Saturday's league battle with the host Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO)

The Mustangs now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alamosa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14. Manitou Springs will battle a Mean Moose team coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to Montrose (Montrose, CO). The Mean Moose record now stands at 14-6.

The Thunderbolts (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO). The Jaguars come into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, James Irwin was routed by The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO), 71-9, in a league battle.
