The Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Scott Eagles (Covington, KY), 52-36 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bluejackets (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Lewis County notched a victory over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY), 41-27, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Conner for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Scott will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 16-7.
