The Pine Ridge Thorpes basketball team (Pine Ridge, SD), was nudged 54-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD)
The Battlers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will battle a Rustlers team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD). The Rustlers record now stands at 13-4.
The Thorpes (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was nudged by Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD), 72-36, in a non-league battle.
