The Woonsocket Villa Novans basketball team (Woonsocket, RI), was routed 69-21 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI)

The Crusaders now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranston East for a Division 2 battle on Monday, February 13. Prout will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 71-59 league loss to Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 7-12.

The Villa Novans (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers come into the Division 2 battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Chariho trounced Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 45-33, in a league battle.
