West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rancocas Valley Red Devils (Mt. Holly, NJ), 40-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Deptford upgrades its record to 8-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Ocean City lost 79-60 in their recent non-league bout against Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Rancocas Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 58-30 non-league loss to Ewing (Trenton, NJ).
