In Saturday's non-league challenge, the York Wildcats (York, ME) ice hockey squad the visiting Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), by a final score of 4-2.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a Class B South game, on Thursday, February 16. York will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 5-2 league win over Cheverus (Portland, ME).
With the defeat, Lake Region moves to 0-4 on the season.
