The Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) basketball felled the host Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 57-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hornets (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Belen was beaten by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 40-29, in a non-league test.
The Ravens now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Los Lunas for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Rio Grande will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 39-34 non-league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 7-13.
