San Gorgonio Spartans (San Bernardino, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. San Gorgonio will attempt to better on its 23-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 1-0 non-league win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA).
The Bulldogs now have a 8-5 record.
