California High School Softball - Segerstrom can't get by Santa Fe

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) softball team held off the host Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA), by a margin of 8-7.

With the triumph, Santa Fe moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Arlington (Riverside, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Jaguars play the San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 14. Segerstrom will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
