The Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), 62-46 in Sunday's non-league test.

The Minutemen (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ). The Lions go into the Super Essex - American test with a 21-4 record. In their last test, Immaculate Conception notched a victory over Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 86-43, in a league test.

The Crimson now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Pequannock for a Northwest Jersey - Independence test on Wednesday, February 14. Morristown-Beard will encounter a Golden Panthers squad coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Golden Panthers record now stands at 12-9.
