In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host East St. John Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 17-2 victory over the Salmen Spartans.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Pelicans enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record. In their last battle, Port Allen False River (New Roads, LA), 0-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Spartans face the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 17. Salmen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
