Massachusetts High School Basketball - Central overwhelms Amherst-Pelham Regional

The Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored 89 points and limited the visiting Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes to 40 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Central will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 54-45 non-league win over Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Warhawks record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Amherst-Pelham Regional falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Northampton (Northampton, MA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 2-9. Northampton won 68-46 in their recent non-league game against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA)
