In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Minster Wildcats basketball team scored a big 81-36 triumph over the Ansonia Tigers.

The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH). The Flyers go into the Midwest contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Marion Local smashed Spencerville (Spencerville, OH), 67-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) in a Western Ohio contest, on Friday, February 14. Ansonia will attempt to better on its 0-21 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-14 record after their 46-42 non-league loss to Greenon (Springfield, OH).
